Hillary to Excite Young Voters w/Boring Politician From the 90s

Hey kids, do you know what time it is? It's Al Gore time. That's right. Your favorite VP and occasional Green Investor will be bringing his enormous charisma to the campaign trail to make Hillary Clinton seem exciting.

Hillary Clinton has a huge problem with young voters

Only 47% of adults 18 to 34 are certain that they will vote this year. That’s down from 74% in 2008. Only 17% of voters under 30 are enthusiastic about voting this year. And, just to make things worse, Gary Johnson is pulling in 14 percent of younger voters. In Virginia, Hillary gets only 34% of the under 34 crowd. That’s not just an entertaining coincidence. It’s also an entertaining catastrophe.

Hillary hoped a youngster like Bernie Sanders could get younger voters to like her. But he didn't catch fire. Defending her remarks about his voters being basement dwellers didn't help.

So now it's Gore Time.

Al Gore to campaign for Clinton, hoping to galvanize young voters on climate change

Former vice president Al Gore will start campaigning for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, according to individuals briefed on the plan, in an effort to mobilize young voters who see climate change as a key issue.

Gore is like catnip to young voters. He combines all the worst elements of Ben Stein's movie teachers and apocalyptic preachers.

“I was told it is not a done deal, that they don’t want to announce it tonight,” Mitchell said, “But they are very close to announcing that Al Gore will be helping Hillary Clinton trying to win over those millennials who have been so reluctant to join forces with the Clinton campaign.”

If that fails, I recommend digging up Dukakis.
