There should be a drinking game for every time the Clinton Foundation refiles its tax returns. But the alcoholism rate is bad enough without it. Here's the Clinton Foundation refiling three years of tax returns.
Clinton Foundation officials quietly refiled three years of tax-related forms this week after the New York attorney general acknowledged the charity had failed to disclose all of its donors in accordance with state law.
Two entities operating within the Clintons' sprawling philanthropic network — the Clinton Health Access Initiative and the Clinton Global Initiative — submitted supplementary financial disclosures for different years between 2012 and 2014 while denying Tuesday that the attorney general's office had asked them to do so.
This would be the same AG who is aggressively pursuing Trump while ignoring blatant violations by the Clinton Foundation. Now this certainly isn't the first time that Clinton Inc. has been forced to do this.
The Clinton Foundation filed three years of revised tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service on Monday, correcting errors which came to light as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign led to increased scrutiny of the charity founded by her husband, President Bill Clinton.
Clinton Foundation CEO Donna Shalala said press reports about the foundation's failure to correctly report government grants from 2010 to 2012 led the organization to conduct a thorough review involving lawyers and accountants, who found other errors. Still, she called the refiling voluntary.
This latest filling? Also utterly and totally voluntary. Like Hillary's FBI chat. It's such a pesky little thing.
For three years in a row beginning in 2010, the Clinton Foundation reported to the IRS that it received zero in funds from foreign and U.S. governments, a dramatic fall-off from the tens of millions of dollars in foreign government contributions reported in preceding years.
Those entries were errors, according to the foundation: several foreign governments continued to give tens of millions of dollars toward the foundation's work on climate change and economic development through this three-year period. Those governments were identified on the foundation's annually updated donor list, along with broad indications of how much each had cumulatively given since they began donating.
And it keeps coming. As with the emails, you have to conclude that either the Clintons are utterly incompetent or criminals. Which one entitles Hillary to the White House again?
