First let's have the spin.
Hillary won the debate. She won big. She won huge. She's going to rise in the polls.
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton saw a small bump following the first presidential debate, a new poll released early Wednesday shows.
The Politico/Morning Consult poll finds Clinton with 41 percent support among likely voters nationally and GOP nominee Donald Trump with 38 percent in a four-way matchup.
Before the debate, Trump had a 1-point lead in the same poll.
Okay that's not big. It's a small bump though. But wait...
The poll was conducted Monday and Tuesday among 1,253 likely voters and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
Hillary's big lead is a margin of error.
