After Trump's statement that the questions about Obama's place of birth had come from Clinton associates, the media swarmed in to howl that it was all a lie. Except for one former bureau chief.
The former Washington bureau chief of McClatchy Co. claimed on Twitter Friday that longtime Hillary Clinton confidante Sidney Blumenthal raised the issue of President Barack Obama's birthplace with him in 2008.

#CNN says #Hillary team in 2008 never raised #birther issue. #SidBlumenthal, long-time #HRC buddy, told me in person #Obama born in #kenya

#CNN says #Hillary team in 2008 never raised #Obama's birth in #Kenya. Who is closer to #HRC than #SidBlumenthal, who told me face-to-face.

Sidney Blumenthal is probably one of Hillary's closest associates. And none of this is really news. The Obama White House barred Blumenthal for good reason. The media knew all this. They are choosing to lie about it.
And Blumenthal won't rule put a role in the Clinton White House. There's a reason that they call him the Hillary Whisperer.
Now the question is how many other media people did Blumenthal sell this to? Asher couldn't have been the only one. How many of them know this is true and are lying about it?
