Hillary Clinton's last book lost $10 million for its publisher. The public had pretty clearly stated its disinterest in books by Hillary. Yet her people decided to roll out Stronger Together, a campaign book whose experience can be duplicated by listening to any random Hillary speech.
And no one wants it. Correction, 2,192 people wanted it.
Hillary Clinton’s newest book, “Stronger Together,” which provides a policy blueprint for where she hopes to take the country if she is elected president, sold just 2,912 copies in its first week on sale, according to Nielsen BookScan.
Both Mrs. Clinton and her running mate, Senator Tim Kaine, have promoted the book on the campaign trail, but the sales figure, which tallies about 80 percent of booksellers nationwide and does not include e-books, firmly makes the book what the publishing industry would consider a flop.
Hillary is a flop so it figures that her book would be. She's unpopular, unlikable and she has nothing to say. And you have to wonder how many of the 2,192 copies sold were bought by either groups or people affiliated with her or donors at fundraisers so they could show her they had the book.
